What a busy week it’s been! Selling a house is like prepping for a never-ending family reunion—cleaning, decluttering, and praying no one opens that one closet! Can I just snap my fingers and have it all magically done? If only!
So, here we are, 17 days into this HRT adventure, and I’m down 4.2 pounds—woohoo! 🎉 Only 5.8 more to go to reach my pre-perimenopausal weight. It’s like a scavenger hunt, but instead of gold, I’m hunting down my waistline! The best part? My tummy and those “WTF” love handles are shrinking! My pants are fitting better, and the bloat has literally disappeared. I feel lighter—like I could float away if a strong breeze hits!
Now, let’s dive into the little challenges… acne! Yes, you heard that right. Apparently, I’ve reverted to my teenage years, complete with hormonal breakouts! 🤣 It’s honestly not terrible; a dab of concealer does wonders. Google tells me it’s just my hormones trying to balance out, and for once, I think Google might be onto something—either that or my doctor is getting better at his job!
Oh, and then there was that one day when I had a headache that felt like it was throwing a rave in my skull. Advil didn’t cut it, so I decided to give my inner barista a shot—coffee! Bam! Headache gone! Who knew a cup of Jo could be my unexpected superhero? I don’t even drink caffeine daily, but apparently, sometimes you just need a little java jolt.
On a brighter note, my sleep has been fantastic! I can stay up later than a grandma at bingo night, wake up feeling refreshed, and not like I’ve been run over by a bus.
