Supplements: The Secret Sauce to Surviving Your 40s

Let’s talk about supplements! Ahhhh, one of my favorite topics—do you really think we need them?! Hell ya, we do! It’s like asking if we need Netflix in our lives. Spoiler alert: We absolutely do!

Now, I’m not saying what I take is meant for you or that your supplements are my soulmate. Nope, we all have our own “issues.” When our bodies start acting like a toddler denied dessert, sometimes we need to step in and say, “Hey, chill out! Let’s find a solution that doesn’t involve throwing a fit!”

So, let’s break down my daily stack. My favorite companies are 1st Phorm—been with them for over 10 years, like a loyal pet—and Plexus. I finally gave in to watching friends rave about Plexus and decided to give it a try. Spoiler alert: I ended up really liking it!

Now, let’s talk about X-Factor. This little gem is like a superhero for PMS symptoms—because let’s be real, we don’t need any extra drama in our lives. It’s easy on my stomach and when I skip it? My body throws a tantrum like it’s auditioning for a role in a soap opera: “Where’s my daily dose of chill?!”

Then there’s Mega-X—think of it as fish oil, but with a side of sass. And of course, the famous pink drink, Slim, which keeps my gut on point. It’s like a spa day for my insides!

Now, when it comes to muscle building, 1st Phorm is my ride-or-die! Phormula-1 & Ignition is my post-workout combo, and let’s talk about creatine. If you think creatine makes you bloated, it’s time for a little chat.. Newsflash: it doesn’t! It’s like the friend who brings you snacks and doesn’t hog the couch!

And then there’s their Level-1 meal replacement protein. If I don’t like the flavor, it’ll just sit in my cabinet like that gym membership I signed up for but never used. “Oh, hey there, dusty protein tub! Still waiting for your moment to shine?” But Level-1 is the best tasting protein out there. Ok so maybe its my opinion, but damn its so true! LOL

I know, I know—there’s a jungle of supplements out there, and it can feel like trying to navigate a corn maze blindfolded. But remember, supplements are here to supplement what our bodies need. Do your research, ask for samples, and find what works for you. It’s like dating, but for your insides—swipe right on the good stuff!

And if you’re lost in this supplement maze, I’ve been handing out my own supplement guide to clients. I’m like the GPS for your supplement journey—recalculating when you take a wrong turn!

So, what have been your go-to supplements? Spill the beans! Let’s share the love and help each other navigate this wild world of wellness—preferably while snacking on some protein bars!

Signing off with strength and sass,

Coach Jen
