Grab your protein shakes and your cutest workout gear because I’ve got a juicy little update for you all from my fitness journey. Buckle up, because things are getting real!
So, last night, I took my first dose of testosterone and this morning I took my first dose of tesofensin, and guess what? I’m feeling pretty darn good! 💪✨ I don’t know if it’s all in my head (probably), but today’s upper body workout was a BLAST. I mean, I felt like I could lift a small car! Or, at least a very determined cat. Either way, it was one of those workouts that makes you feel invincible—like Wonder Woman, but with more snacks afterward.
Now, here’s where it gets funnier. Instead of my usual post-workout routine of workout, shower, and crash on the couch for a nap (yes, you heard it right—naps are LIFE), I decided to channel my inner energizer bunny and run errands ALL DAY. That’s right, folks, I racked up a whopping 12,000 steps! 🏃♀️💃 I finally made it home, and let me tell you, my couch was calling my name louder than a toddler in a candy store.
Speaking of being a tired old soul, you’d think I was 80 with my sleep schedule. I’m usually snoozing by 8 PM because, surprise, I’m up at 4 AM when I work. But tonight, I’m feeling a little more sprightly. Maybe I’ll party it up on my couch with a good book instead of falling asleep before 8 PM—who knows?!
Now, about that food logging business. I haven’t done that yet for today, but with all this running around, I’m guessing my protein intake was a tad lower than usual. I aim for 130-140g of protein a day, and today I’m estimating I squeezed out just over 100g. But hey, the good news is that tesofensin is working its magic and keeping those pesky sweet tooth cravings at bay. 🎉
I’m committed to continuing with the tesofensin daily, and my testosterone dose is just once a week. As for the estrogen? Well, I’m in a bit of a race with my body. I’ve never been in such a hurry to start my period until now—come on, body! Day 14 post-first day of my period, and I’ll be ready to take on estrogen like a champ!
